On the 11th November 2013, Nanyang Polytechnic ISACA student group will host its inaugural capture the flag (CTF) competition for the students of School of IT. With the upcoming BLACK OPS capture the flag competition drawing near, many young IT specialists from all over School of Information Technology will be participating as they try to emerge victorious in this competition.
This event will definitely be a fun and interesting way to get some exposure and hands-on experience in the IT security field, with interesting challenges which would require them to think out of the box.
In addition to gaining educational exercise, the participants can also learn to conduct the different sort of computer network attacks found in the world today. With many attractive prizes and much memorable experiences to be gained, this year’s BLACK OPS capture the flag will definitely be a fun time and we hope you will sign up for the competition.
